Gua Sha Face (including Buccal Massage) accredited Level 3 Practitioner Course This is a 3 days course and we cover - Face Anatomy - Natural Lifting Facial Massage - Face Manual Lymphatic Drainage - Face Cupping - Buccal (Intra-Oral) Sculpting Massage - TMJ intra-oral techniques - Gua Sha Face Techniques to include Myofascial Release and Sculpting - Working with elements to diagnose and treat client’s concerns and address imbalances other than physical - Learning about the emotional connections to the face - 3 case studies required to qualify What is Facial Lymphatic Drainage (FLD)? Facial lymphatic drainage (FLD) is an effective massage technique that uses gentle, rhythmic movements to facilitate the body's natural process of filtering and draining toxins through the lymph nodes. During FLD treatments, soft pressures are carefully directed toward specific points on your neck in order to move accumulated waste materials out of cells and tissues from the face. This therapeutic method can help reduce inflammation and promote a feeling of overall well-being while restoring balance within the body’s systems. What is Buccal Massage and what are the benefits? Through buccal massage, many common symptoms like TMJ, jaw clicking and popping, chronic toothache due to clenching, persistent headaches, tinnitus and even lockjaw can be alleviated. Additionally it may help to sculpt and create a natural lift effect in the face. Buccal massage is an effective way to unknot tension and stress––freeing muscles from heaviness creates a voluminous, sculpted look. The result? A natural, contoured appearance.
