Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder) with Post-Op Care & Lymphatic Tapping Course Description This intensive 2-day training provides hands-on instruction in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) using the Vodder method, with a strong focus on post-operative care for cosmetic surgery clients. You will learn a full-body MLD sequence, understand the physiological changes after surgery, and gain practical skills in applying safe and effective lymphatic techniques to aid healing and recovery. The course also introduces Lymph Tapping, a gentle kinesiology taping technique used to enhance lymph flow and reduce post-surgical swelling and fibrosis. This course is ideal for massage therapists and bodyworkers who wish to expand their clinical offerings and support clients through cosmetic surgery recovery with evidence-informed, effective techniques. Course Aim To equip qualified professionals with the knowledge and skills to confidently deliver Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder method), post-operative massage care for common cosmetic procedures, and lymph tapping techniques that support optimal healing. Course Outcomes By the end of this course, participants will be able to: ׂ╰┈➤ Perform a full-body MLD routine using the Vodder method ׂ╰┈➤ Understand the healing stages and needs of post-operative cosmetic surgery clients ׂ╰┈➤ Apply safe, surgery-specific techniques for procedures such as: - Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) - Breast Augmentation - Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) - Liposuction ׂ╰┈➤ Use kinesiology taping (Lymph Tapping) to promote lymphatic drainage and reduce fibrosis ׂ╰┈➤ Identify contraindications and tailor treatments based on recovery stage and medical clearance ׂ╰┈➤ Educate clients on aftercare, self-care, and post-treatment expectations Course Pre-requisites This course is open to Level 3 (and higher) Massage Therapists and Level 3 (and higher) Beauty Therapists. (Both Massage and A&P Level 3 are required) Accreditation Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Practitioner Certificate accredited by ABT.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations within the 14 day cooling-off period If you cancel the course booking within 14 calendar days of receiving your order confirmation (the day of booking is day 1) you are entitled to a full refund of the price paid without giving any reason. Cancellations outside of the 14 day cooling-off period After the 14-day cooling-off period has expired, the following course cancellation policy shall apply: Cancellations made after the 14-day cancellation period and more than 21 days before the course will be subject to an administration fee of £50. Alternatively, to avoid incurring the admin fee, the student can choose to transfer onto another course. Course is less than 21 days away Cancellations 21 days prior to the course start date will result in 50% of the course cost being forfeited. A transfer only will be offered if the student's place has been filled by another paying student however the student is still liable to pay a £50 admin fee. Course is less than 14 days away Cancellations 14 days prior to the course start date will result in the full course cost being forfeited and a transfer is not offered. Please note we cannot accept responsibility for students’ changes to work commitments, illness or personal circumstances within this period. Course Postponed due to unforeseen circumstances We require a minimum 2 students to run a course. On rare occasions, due to last minute cancellations or insufficient numbers, we may have to re-arrange your course date. Please note we cannot accept responsibility for students’ changes to childcare, work commitments, travel and accommodation arrangements and fees etc when the course is postponed. On this occasion, where possible, we will offer you a transfer to either an in person or online class (if applicable). Cancellation and refund policy for online courses By booking for an Online Course and making a payment of full or installment fee, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions: Under this refund policy and under guidance of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your booking at any time at the following terms: 1. If you cancel the course booking within 14 calendar days of registering your confirmation and before the start of the course without giving any reason, you are entitled to a full refund of the fee paid. 2. Cancellations and refunds in circumstances outside those described above, are not eligible for refunds.
